Appearances December 2020

Most years, from Thanksgiving through December 25th, we would be playing as part of The Bittersweet Christmas Band.  In 2020, February Sky will not be playing with the Bittersweets, since the two halves of the band live 500 miles away from each other, making live-streaming impractical.  We would have to travel to be in the same place, and all four of us are high risk.  However, we look forward to the 2021 holiday season – we already have a number of 2020 gigs that have been postponed until then.

ALL of our engagements this month are online.  PLEASE NOTE:  We had an embarrassing moment when we played an online show for The Coffee House last month, with dropouts on the audio making most of the show un-listenable.  We have not been able to determine what the cause of this might have been, but we have done several live-streamed events since then with no problem.  Live-streaming technology is unpredictable at this point, but we will hope for the best!

Please note that we are presenting THREE services for Unitarian Universalist churches this month.  Don’t be shy about attending – folks of all religions and no religion are welcome, there will be lots of music and plenty to think about!

Check our website (www.februarysky.com) for updates, changes and future gigs.  Live-streamed events can be attended from anywhere!  Here is our direct PayPalMe Link for your generous donations for live-streamed events:  https://www.paypal.me/februaryskymusic

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 18
"TO LIGHT THE WINTER'S DARK," a Solstice concert with Maggie and Jack Ferguson, 7:00 p.m. EST, 6:00 p.m. CST - TO BE BROADCAST VIA ZOOM.  We had such a great time doing a Halloween concert with Maggie and Jack that we decided to do a Solstice concert, but this time it will be in round robin format, each act singing by turns until the time runs out.  We are running the concert exclusively on Zoom so that it will be an event where people can come early or stay a little bit late to chat or to talk with the musicians (the Zoom room will open 30 minutes before official show time).  We can accept up to 100 participants, so be sure to register ahead of time if you wish to attend.    WE WILL POST A LINK HERE TO REGISTER FOR THIS CONCERT LATER IN THE MONTH – LIMITED TO 100 PARTICIPANTS.  The sign-up link will also be posted in an event on our Facebook page.
