Appearances November 2021

With the coming of Autumn, outdoor in-person appearances are now on hold until Spring.  Due to the emergence of the COVID delta variant, there may be last minute changes from indoor events to online.  Check our website (www.februarysky.com) for updates, changes and future gigs.  Also, if you don’t live in the admittedly limited areas where we’re playing, please feel free to forward to any acquaintances who do, and of course live-streamed events can be attended from anywhere!

We have been hosting virtual in the round house concerts for a year now.  This month we were looking forward to sharing one of these on November 19th with the remarkable Kitty Donohoe.  Unfortunately, Kitty had an accident in late October, and although she is recovering, circumstances will not allow her to participate, so at this late date we decided to cancel.  If you know Kitty, we are sure well wishes for her would be appreciated.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 13
HOUSE CONCERT for Mary Postellon, Grand Rapids, MI, 7 p.m.  Email mpostellon@hotmail.com or phone 616/246-6468 for reservations, address, directions and COVID precautions.  $15 suggested donation.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 19 - CANCELLED
“Gratitude, Inspiration and Remembrance - A Concert for the Thanksgiving Season,” a virtual house concert in the round with singer, songwriter, performer, composer and author Kitty Donohoe, 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time, 6:00 p.m. Central.  TO BE BROADCAST VIA ZOOM.  We are running the concert exclusively on Zoom so that it will be an event where people can come early or stay a little bit late to chat or to talk with the musicians (the Zoom room will open 30 minutes before official show time).  We can accept up to 100 participants, so be sure to register ahead of time if you wish to attend.  We will send out a registration link during the second week in November.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 21 - TO BE BROADCAST VIA ZOOM AND PRESENTED IN PERSON
SERVICE for Marquette Unitarian Universalist Congregation, “On This Gray November Morn,” 11AM Eastern Time, 1510 M-28 East, Marquette, MI, 906/228-8048.  PLEASE NOTE:  We will be at the building in person to present the service, which will also be live-streamed via Zoom.  If you are in the area, you are invited to come to the meeting house in person.  Appropriate Covid precautionary measures will be observed.  See https://www.facebook.com/groups/390719584282750 or www.mqtuu.org for updates.  If you want to attend remotely, email mqtuuadassist@gmail.com for a link to the Zoom meeting.

From November 28th through December 25th, we will be playing as part of The Bittersweet Christmas Band - http://uuwisewoman.tripod.com/bittersweetband
